The new Mads reading group programme for the winter term 2025/26 has just been published:
- 6 October 2025: Joyce/Beckett writing women: Molly Bloom and Smeraldina
- 5 November 2025:Richard Aldington, A Fool i’ the Forest and other poems
- 4 December 2025: Edith Sitwell, The Wooden Pegasus
- 7 January 2026: Vernon Lee, ‘Prince Alberic and the Snake Lady’
- 3 February 2026: Geographical emotions in Bryher’s memoir The Heart to Artemis
All meetings take place online via zoom, from 7-8 pm (Berlin time). The link and materials for each session will be circulated one week in advance through our mailing list. Each session begins with a brief, informal introduction to the topic before the meeting is opened up to general discussion.
